    Age: 39

    Location:
    PA USA
About Me My name really is Lisa. I do have a craft name but I rarely, if ever, share it. Still recovering from being married to a horrible reborn Christian & his nutsack family. I have no children but many fur babies, dog, cats(3) and horse.
Music Everything but rap. I am a huge Beatle fan first and foremost.
Movies Black Beauty, Dogma, Terminator, Shaun of the Dead & all the Dead movies, Titanic, BellBookCandle, Harry Potters, Practical Magic, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Pulp Fiction, The Craft, The Notebook, Seabiscuit, Serenity, Monty Pythons
TV Buffy, Firefly, Angel. Yes I am a Joss Whedon nut! I cancelled my cable and have had NO TV for about 2 years. Believe me... I am surviving quite nicely without reality TV.
Books I have an immense cookbook collection that borders on rediculous. Besides that - Harry Potter, of course. Christopher Moore, Christine Feehan, Nora Roberts, Stephen King, Scott Cunningham, Fiona Horne. The Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks (don't leave home without it)
Likes Nature - give me a place where there are no phones. The deep woods in the morning or the ocean at night. Also, I am fascinated with cat toes.
Dislikes Religious hypocrites that preach to you. People who shouldn't drive but seem to be in front of me.
Hobbies Gardening, cooking, riding my horse, holding my cats and tickling their toes.
Vices Work too much. Pick wrong men. Can't remember people's names or their birthdays. Some people don't get my sarcastic humor and I'm all torn up about that.
    Virtues I keep my word.
Heroes My parents...now and forever. Anyone who speaks up for the rights of animals, cept those wacky PETA fanatics.

Been Tagged.... 8 odd facts about me

    Thursday, September 13, 2007, 07:53 AM [General]

I've been tagged to participate.  So here goes..... 8 things, huh?

    1. I have to sleep with a pillow on my face. (this stems from growing up with a Siamese cat that would attack our heads while we slept)

    2. When I drink alcohol, I think I can sing.

    3. I faint about 3 times a year.

    4. I've been self employed for 16 years now yet I have fantasies about working with plants.

    5. Can't have children

    6. When I was little, I kicked a jerkoff kid out of a tree onto a glass bottle. 28 years later I married him and within 1 year, he financially ruined me. Would like to go back in time and kick him harder.

    7. I played Juliet in a play

    8. I've been hit by 3 cars in my life.

    Anyone else ?????

My name is Lisa & I am a Blog Neglecter

    Tuesday, July 31, 2007, 09:43 AM [General]

It has been repeatedly brought to my attention that I have neglected my blog & CS in general.  I was planning on being creative and write a Top 10 Reasons Why I Have Neglected My Blog, but why make excuses, really?  Maybe I could make up some fabulously exotic story that I was on a world cruise or something, but it just not true.  Life is crazy busy.  Period.  Been working nearly 7 days a week.  Not too much time for other things.

I have, however, prepared for and worked some serious overtime recently to have the ability to read The Deathly Hallows and complete it before the ending is spoiled via internet or news.  At least I was successful in that mission.  I finished the book in several days.  I was not disappointed.

One bit of fun that has come my way has been Drag Racing.  My dad is a genius car restorer and Hemi fanatic.  He and I have been racing his very unusual hot rod now setup with 2-stage fogger NoS.  In 1/8 of a mile, I hit 105 nearly every time.  Only lost one race, to date, cause I missed the shift and the rev limiter kicked in.

So, Harry Potter & drag racing has been my big excitement.  What about you?

    Wear your pentagram on Beltane

    Tuesday, April 24, 2007, 04:34 PM [General]

In the joy of today's big announcement of the Wiccans winning victory in the US, I plan on wearing my 'bigger than normal' pentagram necklace on Beltane because why not?  I love this symbol and what it means to me and my 'bigger than normal' necklace is of gorgeous silver and onyx.

Maybe there should be a worldwide movement to start wearing them often and outside of your shirt,
Its about time that the Pentagram/Pentacle become a common place symbol.

    AOL Article and Message Board

    Tuesday, April 24, 2007, 09:24 AM [General]

AOL article & message board links - Wiccans who finally won their lawsuit.

    Here is the article:
    http://news.aol.com/topnews/articles/_a/wiccans-settle-military-grave-lawsuit/20070423161509990001?ncid=NWS00010000000001

Here is the message board link:
    http://messageboards.aol.com/aol/en_us/articles.php?boardId=569996&func=3&channel=News

Not sure if the boards can be accessed without being in AOL.  Interesting to find out, though.

A lot of rightwinged Christians full of immense hate.  It is actually scary and bewildering to think these people, who think they are guaranteed front row seating in Heaven, can spew such venom.

Hate Spewing on AOL towards Wiccans

    Tuesday, April 24, 2007, 08:10 AM [General]

If anyone has AOL or access to the message boards, there are some truly hateful Christians ready to line us up and burn us all.  So much intolerance and stupidity, that I forgot to make coffee this morning.  Why?  All because AOL is so kind and chose to highlight the Wiccans Settling the Lawsuit over the Pentagram.

I've got some childish girl, who can't spell for shit, now threatening me via email.
